Spiked Salted Caramel Iced Coffee
When life gives you booze, you spike your morning iced coffee.
I recently discovered a little thing called Sunday brunch. Some of you may be familiar with the weekend tradition? Sure, it’s nothing new, but it’s one of life’s luxuries I refrained from participating in until just recently. It’s a pity, really, because Sunday brunch is everything.
Brunch endorses the consumption of booze in the morning without any of the scrutiny and judgment.
Booze for breakfast is considered to be unacceptable and frowned upon, but booze for brunch is totally appropriate and enthusiastically welcome.
Keeping up with social convention is confusing.
I say you celebrate your next weekend brunch with this Spiked Salted Caramel Iced Coffee. I used a combination of bold cold brew coffee, salted caramel sauce, creamy Caramel Almond + Cashew Silk Nutchello, and I spiked it with salted caramel vodka. The Silk Nutchello adds a velvety creaminess with a hint of nutty caramel flavor.

I tried something similar at home after reading that recipe, and wow—it was such a treat. There’s something about caramel mixed with coffee that feels like dessert in a glass, and adding a little “kick” just makes it extra fun for a weekend brunch. I used my keurig to brew a strong cup over ice, added caramel syrup, a splash of cream, and a touch of bourbon. It honestly tasted like something you’d order at a fancy café. Life’s busy, but having a small ritual like this makes mornings feel special. Anyone else experiment with coffee cocktails at home?
