Pineapple-Mango Slush

Frozen boozy beverages are where it’s at during the summer. This pineapple-mango slush is an icy blend of frozen pineapples, mangos, lime juice, and vodka. Enjoy these to beat the heat this summer.

This pineapple-mango slush is about to become your new best friend. Because, let’s face it folks, frozen boozy beverages are what summer is all about.

How else are we supposed to survive the heat?

This frozen cocktail is summer sunshine in a glass, only cold and frothy. I used a combination of frozen pineapples, mangos, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave, and ice. My booze of choice for this cocktail is my new favorite vodka flavor: Svedka Mango Pineapple.

Because it’s too hot to exert any real effort, I made this cocktail recipe as simple as possible.

Bust out your trusty blender and dump in all of the ingredients. I like to start with the liquid and end with the ice for easier blending. Pulse until smooth and creamy. Grab your two favorite cocktail glasses and load ’em up. Find your chair of choice and enjoy.

The combination of pineapple and mango creates a perfectly sweet and fruity cocktail that’s perfect for hot summer days by the pool or long, lazy days lounging on the beach. Don’t forget the colorful straws and cute little paper umbrellas!

I recommend slathering on a layer of sunblock and enjoying this tropical beverage in the sun or by the pool. The frosty glass and icy sips help make the heat more tolerable.

Oh yaaaaasssss! Jennie, this is the perfect summer drink. I always have vodka at home (natch) so I just need to stock up on some pineapple and mango and throw ’em in the freezer. How do you get your drink photos looking so gorgeous? I struggle with that kind of photography. Love this post and all of these pix.

Thanks, Nancy. I photographed these using background lighting. It really highlights the contents of the drink, giving it that summer glow.

okay…this? this would be very dangerous for me, because i’m one of those people who “forgets” there’s booze in things that taste this fruity and delicious. Not really “forgets” but more like “forgets to care.”

probably i’m not allowed to have these. :) well, maybe though.
