Thirsty Thursday: Caramel Apple Pie Martini {By the Pitcher}
All the things you love about pie in the form of a cocktail. This Caramel Apple Pie Martini is made by the pitcher and combines apple cider, caramel vodka, and apple whiskey. The addition of a vanilla bean takes this martini over the top.
Notice a pattern? Yesterday I posted a recipe–a damn good recipe, if I do say so myself–for Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls, and today I’m posting a Caramel Apple Pie Martini. A Booze-infused, no pie crust required version of apple pie. It’s far easier to make and even more fun to drink.
I’ve been neglecting my Thirsty Thursday feature for the past few weeks. The last cocktail recipe I posted was this Cran-Apple Splash, and that was almost a month ago! I’m surprised I haven’t received any emails threatening bodily harm, “Give us the booze, or else!”
Listen, I get it, y’all like your booze. Heck, if I don’t have my weekly cocktail fix, I get a bit rage-y myself. How else is one expected to deal with life? You know what, maybe don’t answer that question. I have a feeling it involves fist fights and hair pulling, maybe even vehicular violence towards other cars.
Let’s just get you guys your booze fix before shit hits the fan.
As I was perusing my booze shelf last weekend, I found a bottle of Crown Royal Apple hiding behind a few of the taller liquor bottles. Right in front of it was a bottle of caramel-flavored vodka, so I took as a sign from the cocktail gods that I needed to combine the two. I did a little spin kick and off I went merrily skipping up the stairs.
After some experimenting, I ended up with a pitcher of caramel apple martinis–an entire pitcher! Thank goodness it was the weekend, because me and Mr. Martini became close buddies. Here’s the thing, this cocktail goes down smooth, like really smooth. It’s not my fault, really. Really!
It’s just that it was so good. Can’t-stop-won’t-stop good. No-regrets good. Drink-the-entire-pitcher-by-yourself good. I’m going to stop with the compound adjectives now. I think you get my point.
