Saturday, I thought you would never get here, but thank goodness you did.

It’s been a long week, which I’m sure has something to do with the fact that it has been absolutely gorgeous outside. When you’re at work and it’s a nice out, the day seems to move at a snail’s pace. All you can do is sit there and stare out the window (if you’re lucky enough to have one. I don’t) at the beautiful day passing you by. How frustrating!

I don’t know how it’s been in your neck of the woods, but the weather has been really crazy in Baltimore. One second it’s smoldering hot, and the next it’s cold and pouring rain out. I think Mother Nature has lost her marbles…or just given up on us completely. Who knows! This weekend is supposed to be mild and sunny, so I plan on doing some outdoor activities. I’m thinking a long bike ride is in my future. Maybe some gardening. Oh, better yet, some porch sittin’ while sipping on a cocktail. Yeah, that last one sounds like a winner!

I hate to say this, but I don’t have too much to report this week. It’s been quite boring around these parts. IMG_1218

IMG_1199Being the nice wife I am, I bought Squirrel tickets to the Orioles game last Saturday. We had a ton of fun, but it was cold after the sun went down. My ears almost froze off.

This isn’t exciting news, but I finally got a pedicure. Yay, now I can safely wear sandals outside without feeling self conscious about my tootsies. The spa pedicure I received from About Faces Canton was the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Angel is a rockstar! She spent an hour pampering my feet–it felt so good!

IMG_1216Squirrel and I ate our first dozen of crabs this week. They were so good! I can’t wait until it gets nice out so we can steam them ourselves in Squirrel’s new crab pot. We missed crabs so much that we decided to go out on Friday to Canton Dockside for more. If you want good crabs, go to Canton Dockside. They’re ginormous!IMG_1217
