Your game day crowd will go wild for this Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese. It’s the ultimate recipe to feed a crowd, and it combines two favorite dishes.
If you need me, I’ll be the gal hovering over the food table with my plastic fork and paper plate at the ready.
For me, football season is all about the food. I could care less who wins or loses, what team is playing and when, and whether or not “our” team ends up in the playoffs. I. Just. Don’t. Care.
I concern myself with more important matters—like, whether or not someone will snag the last chicken wing before I get to it, how many appetizers will be on the menu, and if there will be cocktails.
I’m also not the fun-loving wife of the football-crazed husband that pretends to like football so all of his friends will think I’m cool. I can’t be both the fun-loving wife and the stalker of the food table, so, obviously, food wins.
I’ll arrive to the party dressed the part (because, clothes!), so I’ll at least appear as if I’m interested. That counts for something, right?
When Tyson Foods, Inc invited me to attend their Boneless Wyngz* game day party at Sam’s Club, I was all in! It was a party centered around food, and my very favorite food at that: saucy wings! Or should I say Wyngz?
The party was a touch down! Sam’s Club prepared and served Tyson®’s newest Boneless Wyngz* flavor, Honey BBQ Flavor (*contains no wing meat). They bake up tender with a crisp exterior and a hint of smoky heat. That day, I wasn’t the only one hovering over the food table. There was a long line of party-loving people lined up to get a taste of the sweet and smoky morsels of tender chicken. Can you blame them?
Hungry, football-loving people surrounded the gal dishing up the bite-size appetizers the entire duration of the event. Hand after hand reached for the table to pluck a wing from the platter, several of the guests re-entering the line to get another taste. Free lunch!
After the hustle and bustle surrounding the food table, Poe, the Baltimore Ravens mascot made his grand entrance and everyone flocked to him with their chicken in hand. Poe was a good sport, too. He danced with several of the party guests and posed for pictures. It was a great time and everyone seemed to really enjoy the event. I left stuffed with a bag of Tyson® Boneless Wyngz* in my cart, as did most of the other guests.
As soon as I placed my bag of Tyson® Boneless Wyngz* in my cart, I knew exactly what I was going to make for Super Bowl: Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese!
This gooey, cheesy, slightly spicy, chicken-filled mac and cheese is guaranteed to become the most valuable platter at your game-day event. It’s loaded with cheese and spicy hot sauce to give it that classic buffalo flavor that everyone knows and loves.
Don’t be surprised if everyone is surrounding the food table instead of watching the game this year.
